Head of Complex Reinsurance
The Head of Complex Reinsurance role will contribute to underwriting development and build-out of the Complex Reinsurance business segment as part of Palms Insurance strategic initiative. This position will manage a team of underwriters and/or actuaries and have responsibility for multiple underwriting books of business. This position will manage customer and broker relationships and have budget authority over their organization.
The Associate Underwriting Analyst supports the underwriting team by conducting detailed risk assessments and financial analysis of insurance program opportunities and renewals. This role involves gathering and analyzing data from various sources, preparing comprehensive reports, and assisting underwriters by creating the necessary internal documents and overseeing internal tracking of the life of the program.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst position supports strategic system implementation initiatives and ongoing business improvement projects. The role is responsible for gathering and defining business requirements, creating process flows, writing UAT user stories, and delivering detailed business process documentation. This role requires both a structured thinker and a hands-on executor who can deliver actionable outcomes.
Assumed Reinsurance Claims Account Manager
The Reinsurance Claims Account Manager role is responsible for reviewing assumed reinsurance claims to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract terms and conditions, as well as coordinating the submission, tracking, and resolution of reinsurance recoveries, including facultative and treaty claims. The position manages insurance activities related to claims, as well as third-party relationships involved in the claims process.
Lead Quality and Process Project Mgr
The Lead Quality and Process Project Manager will lead, design, develop, and maintain our Quality Assurance testing strategy. The position owns the strategic planning and technical implementation of the QA framework, and will be responsible for creating test plans, defining data test strategies, writing user stories, and delivering detailed end to end testing framework along with execution.
Director of Product
The Director of Product will oversee insurance business operations across market segments. This role assists with the creation and management of shared-services operations as well as program and project management, system and process creation, financial budgeting and forecasting, financial and operational auditing, vendor management, capacity and resource planning, internal consulting and property and casualty underwriting operations support and claims administration.
Sr ML Engineer - Reinsurance & Insurance Finance
The Sr ML Engineer position is responsible for developing algorithms, modeling techniques, and optimization methods that support many aspects of Palms Insurance business. Employees in this role use knowledge of machine learning, optimization, statistics, and applied mathematics along with abilities in software engineering with a focus on distributed computing and data storage infrastructure (i.e., “Big Data”).
