Tim joined Palms Insurance in 2020 and is responsible for driving commercial and operational strategies to build insurance segment portfolios in concert with established business plans to achieve financial plans. He leads the underwriting, origination & structuring, actuarial and risk, claims, analytics, and operations teams.

Prior to joining Palms, Tim worked in the insurance industry for 35 years and served in a variety of leadership roles at Aspen Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Munich Re, AIG, and Swiss Re, with full P&L responsibilities for large global portfolios, underwriting teams, and Program/MGA relationships.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He holds numerous insurance designations including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Risk Management.  He is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
